Already members of the Association for Environment-Conscious Building, Darnton Elgee have signalled their commitment to ‘green’ design by embarking on the pursuit of ISO 14001 accreditation.

A known significant factor for all, sustainability is a key consideration for the Practice. Environmentally conscious design has been employed on schemes from private residential developments to major flagship higher education facilities.

Consultation with the Carbon Trust has enabled the practice to create practical and effective solutions, with advice being put into action in not only design terms, but also in office operations.

Every little helps and, by being an active part of the local authority recycling scheme, the impact of office waste is minimised.
