Creative Arts Building set to make an impact in Huddersfield

Darnton Elgee are currently acting for the University of Huddersfield to create a landmark, flagship facility for the campus - The Creative Arts Building.
The design philosophy for the building focuses on sustainability and high environmental credentials. The design team has used techniques such as Thermal Modelling, Carbon Indexing and Facade Modelling in conjunction with BREEAM pre-assessment workshops.
Such analysis has resulted in the creation of a durable, low-energy, low carbon and low maintenance building that will provide a stunning focal point for not only the University but also the town as a whole. |
