Darnton Elgee were originally appointed as architects for minor refurbishment works to ancilliary buildings. Upon completion, a new restaurant, changing room and toilet complex was added and, at the same time, re-roofing of the main Bottling Hall commenced.
Work had to be phased to eliminate production delays and the food bottling lines were kept in production while the re-roofing works were carried out. A separate office block, food preparation area and stores were then added.
Two new process buildings were also included in the scheme, and a vital part of our work included the co-ordination and integration of stainless steel plant and pipework.
