This 300,000ft2 steel frame, steel clad building forms the housing for a high-tech, first-generation plant Paper Mill.
Management of communications was central to this project with members of the design team being based in the UK, USA and Austria.
The steel clad walls contain a concrete waistcoat to prevent damage. Contained within the building is a 20,000ft2 office and social area with a 7.5m curtain wall exposing a centerpiece spiral staircase, clearly visible to approaching visitors.
Coordination included 3D mapping of environmental services, production services and structure prior to issue for contractors.
