Following discussions with English Heritage, Darnton Elgee designed a residential development scheme with a view to releasing funds for the further repair of the dilapidated Grade II listed main hall.

Housed within an existing walled garden, the scheme design is formulated to sympathetically complement the existing historic building stock and provides five 5-bedroom, substantial detached properties.

The development has been the receipient of a Good Design & Construction Award from Selby District Council, the local planning authority.
