Darnton Elgee received a Commendation in the RIBA White Rose Awards for their Monk Fryston Office which was created from a Grade II Listed Coach House located in the grounds of Monk Fryston Hall.

The refurbishment provides 6,000 sqft of office accommodation on two levels with a central gallery and conference facilities.

Not only did the citation acknowledge the provision of a well designed modern interior within an old building but the benefit of regenerating a forgotten derelict corner of the grounds to the main hall was appreciated.
