This project involved the new building extension to the West Building, an existing campus facility.
A new Student Union building houses a main bar and extensive performance stage area. Full catering facilities, a coffee shop and lounge area, a retail shop, Advice Centre and Student Activity centre are also included within the scheme. Offices and meeting rooms complete the development.
Having developed detailed design proposals for the project, Darnton Elgee were subsequently novated to the successful contractor under a Design, Manage and Construct contract.
